Safety of life at sea
The new SOLAS which stands for SAFETY OF LIFE AT SEA weighing regulations: Gross container weights must be verified and declared in advance of being loaded onto ships.
Here at Hinks Haulage we are accredited by the MARITIME AND COASTGUARD AGENCY for use of weighing Method 2.
We have a platform scale on site that can weigh up to a maximum of 6000kgs and we can supply a VGM certificate for each loaded container.
From 1kg to 26,000kgs, palletised or non-palletised cargo, bundles, IBC's, Hazardous or Non Hazardous, we can arrange most collections and deliveries. Part loads/groupage or full loads please give us a call.
